CHILDRENS LEARNING
At Playtime Daycare we specialise in different classrooms where the children will benefit from their age and stage of learning. We cater each room with qualified staff who understand the needs of the child and work in close parent partnership to ensure the child’s learning and milestones are met.
BABY room (6 months – 2 years)
This room we provide care and nurturing for the babies and work in partnership to meet all the babies physical, emotional and learning needs. We have created a home to home to environment where your child will have their sleep, feeding and intimate routines followed and the exploring and learning is made fun and stimulating so your baby is enjoying a rich environment.
TODDLER room (2- 3years)
This is where all the children will learn their confidence and will be finding their feet to becoming independent. Our Early year’s educators will be encouraging and showing the children in this room to be more self-sufficient with lots of support and fun learning strategies. There will be table activities as well as floor activities and lots of interactive learning will take place as these children start to mature.
PRE SCHOOL Room (3 – 5 years)
Our preschool room is when the children will be having more structured activities around their learning. Phonics, number sequences, problem solving, learning boundaries and school readiness will be a big part of the child’s daily routine. The children will become more independent and have the ability to be able to choose their daily activities with the early years educators.
